My Focus This Month

I’ve entered myself and dedicated myself to completing NaNoWriMo’s Challenge of completing a 50,000 word novel by November 31st. For more info or to participate be sure to check out NanoWriMo.
Current status: Roughly 3000+ words.

Novel synopsis: Inspired by the recent fires we faced in Souther California, this story revolves around an individual who, very much like the city burning around him, has a compelling, burning desire that he must face before he becomes completely consumed.

[Update] 11/7/07 - 5600 words. 44,000 more to go!

[Update] 11/8/07 - 7655. Still a lot to go! My goal is to have 15,000 done by the end of this weekend.

[Update] 11/12/07 - 12,000 words completed. Didn’t hit the mark I was aiming for, but still damn proud. Only 38,000 left to go. Still feeling good.
